Joe Dickey retired from Johns Hopkins University, where he was a research physicist. Joe likes to say that he had a professional career doing useful work, helping make submarines quiet for the Navy, and then a decade with Johns Hopkins University doing research. Joe has published about a hundred peer reviewed papers, mostly in structural vibrations.
